AMA E-Ride
Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has been working with unwavering focus on transforming the urban public transport service in Odisha, turning it more safe, accessible, and inclusive. Through AMA Bus, Bhubaneswar has witnessed a transformation in urban public transport service. In line with the same, CRUT has embarked on yet another mission of bringing about gender inclusivity and empowerment through the introduction of E-Rickshaws in Bhubaneswar - the AMA E-Ride - connecting people’s doorsteps to AMA Bus Stops.
CRUT’s initiative for Women Empowerment and Social Inclusion focuses on making these women and transgender self-reliant and skilled to drive AMA E- Ride - the premier urban transit service in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Puri.These women, transgender and socially disadvantaged people persons are called “Sarathis'' - the driving force behind AMA E-Ride
